Home of the Rams, our boys soccer program combines dedication, teamwork, and a relentless competitive spirit. Representing the black and gold with pride, our athletes train hard, play with heart, and strive for excellence on and off the field.

2026 Important Dates
August 10-12 - Tryouts 7-9pm (MANDATORY) - Your player must have completed registration, submitted a physical, and been approved before he can participate.
Thursday, August 13 - Varsity / JV teams announced
Friday, August 14 - 5:30pm - Kit Handout in ("Headquarters"/HQ - temporary building in parking lot above the field) beginning with seniors. 6pm - potluck dinner in the commons. All players and families encouraged to attend. Sign Up Here.
Saturday, August 15 - Scrimmage Day (Thomas Jefferson, Alameda, Lakewood) - Games begin at 8:00am. See attached schedule to the left. Help is needed with drink concessions. Sign Up Here.
Monday, August 17
9:00am - 4:00pm - GMHS Open House for ALL STUDENTS. Soccer needs help manning the boys soccer informational booth Sign Up Here

7:00-8:30pm - regular practice begins on the turf for both JV and Varsity
Tuesday, August 18 - All Team Foot Golf at Kennedy Golf Course. Players MUST sign up so we can confirm tee times with Kennedy Golf Course. Sign Up Here

Tuesday, August 25 - 5:00pm First Varsity Home Match @ Lakewood Memorial Field vs Kent Denver (2025 3A State Champions)
Friday, August 28 - 5:30pm - Varsity Team Dinner at the Abbott Home
Thursday, October 1 - 5:00pm - Away Varsity game vs. Dakota Ridge at LMF. Afterwards, cheer on our fellow Rams along with our band and choir players at the Homecoming Football Game
Saturday, October 3 - Homecoming Dance
Tuesday, October 6 - Senior Night vs Pomona - Lakewood Memorial Field 7:00pm
Wednesday, October 29 - Trick or Treat Street - 6:00-8:00pm - GMHS Commons - Player volunteers needed.
Monday, November 17 - Soccer Banquet - 5:00-7:00pm - Baldoria on the Water - Players and families encouraged to attend.
Tuesday, November 18 - Future Ram Showcase - 6:00-8:00pm - GMHS Commons - Player volunteers needed.
*Training for both JV and Varsity teams run 5 days per week through late October/mid-November from 7-8:30pm. Friday training may be adjusted. Matches are usually weekday evenings.

The 2026 soccer season will be here before we know it! Our Boosters team is looking for more parent involvement and support. We’ve created a volunteer sign-up with opportunities for everyone - pre-season roles, one-time commitments, and even tasks you can do from home on your own schedule.
