ACTION ITEMS BEFORE THE 2026 SEASON BEGINS
1 - REGISTER YOUR PLAYER BEFORE TRYOUTS - THIS REQUIRES A PREPARTICIPATION PHYSICAL EVALUATION FORM - SIGNED BY A DOCTOR
Fall sports registration is now open! You must be registered in Arbiter and have your physical paperwork in before you are allowed to tryout. You can find all the info you need on the GMHS Athletic Website (under Registration tab) or visit our Resources Tab for more information. Reach out to Mr. Belveal (Athletic Director), Ms. Bath (Athletic Assistant) or Boosters with any questions. You do not pay the $200 district fee until your player is rostered on August 13, 2026. This fee will appear in your student's Infinite Campus account. The $200 goes directly to the district to pay for coaches, referees, etc. There is an additional $250 fee that will be paid directly to boosters once your son is on the roster. This fee is used to buy uniforms, balls, equipment, pay for players' banquet meal, some team dinners and more. Click on the Boosters tab to learn more.
2 - GET CONNECTED ON SPORTS YOU
ALL communications will go through the sportsYou App. https://www.sportsyou.com/
We recommend turning your notifications ON and encourage your player to do so as well.
All players and parents/guardians should be signed up using team access code K9FL-BX6Z. See QR code. Once teams have been announced on August 13, players and parents should get signed up on the Junior Varsity (access code B2RY-LBCL) or Varsity (access code C2FQ-HB3P) teams.
3 - PRE-SEASON CAMP - JULY 1 DEADLINE HAS PASSED TO BE GUARANTEED A CAMP SHIRT. WE WILL DO OUR BEST TO PROVIDE ONE.
DON'T FOR GET TO COMPLETE WAIVER AND PAY FOR CAMP.
Camp is July 30 - August 7 - Pre-season two-a-day camp. This is strongly encouraged for all prospective players. Cost is $100. Scholarships available. For more details and to sign up, visit THIS LINK.

PRE-SEASON CAMP AND ACTIVITIES:
July 30, 31, Aug 3, 4, 5, 6 - Pre-season two-a-day camp (RECOMMENDED)

Saturday, August 1 - 9am-12pm - Intrasquad Scrimmage - players and families encouraged to enjoy lunch at Las Fuentes afterwards (cash preferred)
Friday, August 7 - 9am-12pm - Final day of Pre-season Camp - no training at GMHS - Carpool and meet at Bear Creek Lake Park for fun and lunch
Saturday, August 8 - 6:00pm-8pm - SENIORS AND PARENTS potluck at coaches house. Sign Up Here.
FALL:**
August 10-12 - Tryouts (MANDATORY) - Your player must have completed registration, submitted a physical, and been approved before he can participate.
Thursday, August 13 - Varsity / JV teams announced
Friday, August 14 - 5:30pm - Kit Handout in ("Headquarters"/HQ - temporary building in parking lot above the field) beginning with seniors. 6pm - potluck dinner in the commons. All players and families encouraged to attend. Sign Up Here.
Saturday, August 15 - 9:00 AM @ GMHS: Varsity Game vs Thomas Jefferson
Monday, August 17 - 7-8:30pm - regular practice begins on the turf for both JV and Varsity

Tuesday, August 25 - 5pm @ Varsity at Lakewood Memorial Field vs Kent Denver (2025 3A State Champions)
Friday, August 28 - 5:30pm - Varsity Team Dinner at the Abbott Home
Thursday, October 1 - 5:00pm - Away Varsity game vs. Dakota Ridge at LMF. Afterwards, cheer on our fellow Rams along with our band and choir players at the Homecoming Football Game
Saturday, October 3 - Homecoming Dance
*Training for both JV and Varsity teams run 5 days per week through late October/mid-November from 7-8:30pm. Matches are usually weekday evenings.
