Travel Support

Travel support opportunities may be available through NeurIPS programs and external sponsors, subject to funding availability.

Additional information will be announced as funding opportunities become available.

Participation costs can be a significant barrier for researchers from low-resource institutions and underrepresented regions.

We are working to provide travel support opportunities for selected participants, including accepted presenters and early-career researchers.

Support may contribute toward:

• Conference registration

• Travel

• Accommodation

• Visa-related expenses

Travel support is subject to funding availability and eligibility criteria. Additional details and application procedures will be announced as funding becomes available.

NeurIPS Bridging the Future Grant Support

GlobalSouthAI @ NeurIPS 2026 is partially supported through the NeurIPS Bridging the Future Grant, awarded to advance compression-first AI research and efficient AI systems for bandwidth-constrained regions.

Through this initiative, dedicated registration and/or travel support will be provided, subject to funding availability and eligibility criteria, to enable greater participation from the Global South at NeurIPS 2026. The support aims to help selected presenters and early-career researchers offset participation-related costs.

The registration and travel support application will open soon. Further details regarding eligibility criteria, application procedures, and the selection process will be announced in due course.

All authors of accepted contributions will be eligible to apply for support. Priority may be given to presenters, early-career researchers, and participants from resource-constrained institutions and underrepresented regions.
