Hi! My name is Siddharth Chukkayapally and I will be your instructor for the competition math course. I am a junior at Green Hope High School, and in my free time, I like to play sports, spend time with friends & family, and engage in problem-solving activities such as competition math. I believe that competition math can help with a variety of useful life skills including critical thinking, time management, and teamwork. In this course, we will be going over the fundamentals of competition math such as problem-solving process and basic algebra, geometry, combinatorics, and number theory. My qualifications include a 1600 SAT, 2x AIME qualifications, an AMC 10 honor roll, and 5th place at MATHCOUNTS States
Curriculum:
All lessons will be on Saturdays from 12:00 p.m. - 1:00 pm EST, starting July 13th, 2024

This course is made for those interested in starting competition math and beginners who have just begun competition math. We will cover the basics and build solid fundamentals for the student to progress on their own even after the course.
Classes will be held over Google Meet. All classes will be 1 hour long.
As listed above, it is a ten week program, with one class per week and $10 per hour, totaling to $100 for the entire program.

Course structure:
Students will be introduced to competition math and take a practice AMC 8 in the first lesson to evaluate where they stand currently. Then, over the next eight weeks, students will receive course instruction and material on various topics listed in the curriculum below. Lastly, on week 10, students will take another AMC 8 to see their improvement.
