INFAM, Peru
The Institute for the Pastoral Care of the Family (INFAM) shares with you some of the activities of the programs, projects, and services that have been carried out this year.
With the aim of providing the neediest families with comprehensive support. Above all, spiritual well-being has spread the practice of prayer, and the prayer of the Holy Rosary to strengthen faith and hope, that God is with us.
In the children's projects such as My Hidden Treasure and I Take Care of My Life, a beautiful activity was carried out, the children were explained what the Holy Rosary was and how to pray, using some stories, and then they themselves made their denarius to pray.
Likewise, in the program of the Elderly with a Young Heart, which takes place in the chapel, before starting any activity, they pray the Holy Rosary. As they also do in the Grief Accompaniment Project.
In Social Service, the help is not only material, but also spiritual; because, when the social worker makes home visits, they are given cards with prayers for the following occasions: When they get up, during the day, when they take food, and when they go to bed. These are provided to motivate the practice of prayer, in which all the members of the family participate.
By taking these actions, we are planting seeds of faith and hope in low-income families, nourishing our service with prayer so that we can grow in hope and love.
Seniors offer the Lord of Miracles a flower made by them in the Craft Workshop.
Grief accompaniment workshop held at the Peyton Center, we pray illuminated by the light of candles, which symbolize hope.
Poster made for the activity of the Children's Project The Emotional Rosary, each child made their own denarius for them to pray.
