The Peyton Institute for Families is glad to announce that the first batch of the postgraduate level training in Family Therapy (PGTFT) secured first class in their university examination. The PGTFT is a 10-month long residential program conducted at the Institute premises with an intention to provide professional training to laity and pastoral agents who have the required determination to equip themselves with the skills to assist others through counseling. The first batch consisted of nine participants drawn from across India. We are happy that the training has been quite successful and we continue to receive word from the trainees about their fulfilling experiences in the field. Nothing makes us happier than our past trainees becoming confident counselors and resource persons to hundreds of faithful across the country. The present group consists of 15 participants. The results of the first group is indeed a motivation for them to work hard!
