In recent years, the Arequipa Ministry Center of Family Rosary Peru has implemented a Workshop on the Prayer of the Holy Rosary, introducing elementary school children to the Rosary for the first time.
At San Juan Bautista de la Salle School, run by the Brothers of the Christian Schools, we organized Rosary workshops for elementary students. Over the course of one week, we served 18 classes, strengthening love for the “Crown of Roses,” the Holy Rosary, in the hearts of children.
These were special moments when the children understood that contemplating the Mysteries of the Rosary means identifying with the lives of Jesus and Mary. Praying and meditating are simple when done with love and attention—always with a special mission: to pray for others.

On July 12, 2025, our team in Lima organized a Family Rosary Crusade titled “Youth: Hope Without Borders” at San Benito Parish. The event was coordinated by our Teaching Team, with the support and active participation of all members of our ministry center in Lima.
The goal of this initiative was to encourage young people and their families to recognize the importance of both personal and community prayer life through the Holy Rosary.
More than 500 students from various schools in the area attended, praying together the Luminous Mysteries of the Rosary with deep respect and devotion. We were blessed with the presence of our National Director, Fr. Elmer Caro Aguirre, C.S.C., seminarian John, Sr. Marisol Mamani, C.S.C., and the Parish Priest, Fr. Binesh Kattackanadayil, C.M.I.

Here are a few captured moments from the Youth Rosary Crusade held on July 12, 2025.
On August 12, our Ministry Center representative in Piura gave a lecture on the Rosary for students of El Triunfo School. Forty-five young people preparing for the Sacrament of Confirmation at San Martin de Porras Castilla Parish attended the session.
The goal of this activity was to help participants become familiar with the history of the Rosary, understand its place in their spiritual lives, and feel encouraged to pray it regularly.
We began by sharing the story and meaning of the Rosary, then explained the prayers that form it and demonstrated how to use it. Together, we prayed one decade of the Rosary, allowing the students themselves to lead the Hail Marys. At the end of the session, each attendee made a personal commitment to pray at least one decade of the Rosary every day.

At the Institute of Family Pastoral (INFAM), we offer families programs, projects, workshops, and services that foster holistic growth. Two initiatives focus especially on accompanying adolescents and young people in their physical, cognitive, emotional, social, and spiritual development.
The “My Skills Strengthen Me” project provides psychological and spiritual support to adolescents and their families, helping them develop empathy, communication, and decision-making as life-giving skills. The “Walkers” project offers a space for reflection and discernment at the Patrick Peyton Center, guiding youth to discover themselves and deepen their relationship with Jesus through prayer.
Through our music, dance, and sports workshops, we continue being pilgrims of hope for youth. In a world often marked by violence and uncertainty, INFAM becomes a welcoming space where young people find support, purpose, and encouragement to grow in faith, character, and confidence.
