Peru- Family Rosary
students from Fe y Alegría 25, Miguel Grau, and Mario Florian high schools came to pray with us. Members of the parish, teachers, and religious members of the Congregation of Holy Cross also attended the event, with an estimated total attendance of 350 people. One of the highlights of these Rosary prayers has been the active participation of our youth, who, on this occasion, prayed with us, Rosary in hand, for peace in the world. It was a very fulfilling experience; the reverence and respect the teenagers displayed during the moments of prayer, along with their excellent disposition in reciting the Our Father and Hail Mary prayers during each decade of the Rosary, were remarkable.
This activity clearly shows that there is a search for spirituality and a yearning for peace, justice, and goodness in the hearts of our youth. A world at prayer is a world at peace, and we hope that family prayer will help us seek, find, and build peace not only in our lives but also in our society.
The next Rosary prayer we are organizing will take place in September, where we will pray for families, together with the parents of the teenagers who accompanied us at this event.
Youth group pray the Rosary for Peace.
