Bridging Hope, Mercy Leading to Transformation
Holy Cross Family Ministries – France and Tanzania
Holy Cross Family Ministries in France has long served as a beacon of hope and an embodiment of mercy to those in dire need. Similarly, in Tanzania—particularly at our parish in Kitete—our mission continues to flourish. During the last week of Advent and throughout Holy Week, we reach out to families struggling to meet basic needs, delivering Easter or Christmas packages to uplift their spirits. Our mission, always rooted in faith, prayer, and family, focuses on offering vital support and resources to families in need, addressing a wide range of issues that affect both family dynamics and individual well-being.
Emotional and Spiritual Support
One of the most profound ways Holy Cross Family Ministries demonstrates mercy in France is through emotional and spiritual care. We offer counseling services, support groups, and spiritual guidance to families and individuals facing challenges such as grief, addiction, and physical or mental health struggles. By lending a compassionate ear and creating a safe space, our mission helps individuals navigate difficulties and find solace in faith and community.
Spiritual Empowerment through the Rosary
In Lourdes and Garaison, Holy Cross Family Ministries in France also provides prayer resources such as rosaries and instructional guidance on how to pray the Rosary. These programs often involve praying together with families and groups. By equipping them with spiritual tools, we help build strong, healthy relationships and foster growth in holiness—not only in France but around the world.
Practical Acts of Mercy
Our ministry further expresses mercy through tangible acts: providing food, clothing, and shelter, and organizing community drives to support local schools. These outreach efforts ensure that families receive the help they need to overcome immediate hardships and build a brighter, more stable future.
Together, we continue to bring Christ’s love into the heart of every home we touch.
