Two years ago, joined the sharing bandwagon in Facebook for this excellent artwork. The artwork was also used in merchandise but without proper attribution or royalty to the artist. (Grabe kayo, shame on you!)
Also learned belatedly that the graphic artist creator was one Carlo San Jose of Labyrinth Design Studio.

Down memory lane, sometime between 1976 and 1983 in Makati, classic Sesame Street video featuring a daisy and Vivaldi's "Concerto in D" (the music much, much later identified by one BFF). Watching this loosens all knots in me, all thoughts and concerns fading out momentarily. Needed this after a very stressful week at work.
Seem to recall that this music also scored a TV commercial of textile company Tefilin, which showed a closeup of a crawling silkworm. (Ah, the strange things your mind would recall from your childhood!)

It was a few weeks past November 18 last year when I designed and posted this on my IG. A few weeks past since the country buried its late dictator as a hero. A move championed by the Executive, defended by the Attorney General, affirmed by the Supreme Court, and furtively accomplished with the assistance of the Armed Forces.
I still have no words prepared to explain to the younger generation why we let this happen.
(The Voltes V is from "marktrese" of Deviant Art.)

Down memory lane, sometime between 1976 and 1984 in Makati, classic Sesame Street's story of Bumble Ardy, his ninth birthday, and his mom Sweet Adeline. A mother's story of unconditional love, and forgiveness... and nine kisses from your mom on your ninth birthday even as you're about to enter puberty.
Remembered this a few days ago when my sister celebrated her birthday on November ninth and I was regrettably out of town on official business.

Down the memory lane, sometime between 1976 and 1984 in Makati, "The Trying Song" is a Joe Raposo classic from Sesame Street. Even if a young person didn't understand the lyrics, the visuals relate to the everyday challenges of being a kid, and being smaller than you've wanted. I related with the frustration at the drinking fountain.

It's a usual topic in our quickie family reunions, throwback to the best of pop culture of our youth. Today, I shared my frustrations over the futile online search for Supergirl, a 70's cult classic starring Pinky Montilla. Wanted it as part of my Halloween-themed updates on the site.
Later, I would learn that sometime November 2016, a private screening of this film was held. Glad to be reassured that somewhere out there the Filipino Catholic Supergirl (that pre-dated Helen Slater's) still exists.
