Glastonbury Friends of Housing meets as a full group every two months, on average, to learn about, discuss, and plan around issues of affordable housing in Glastonbury. Additionally, there are the following committees that meet to take on more specific work needed by the full group.
The 10 member steering committee (including members from the two subcommittees described below) helps to coordinate, prioritize, and set strategic priorities for the larger group.
The 10 members of the education/community outreach subcommittee works to facilitate community discussions and education, communication, and action opportunities around housing in Glastonbury.
This eight member group continues to research and develop findings about housing issues and challenges, including common concerns and myths, best practices, and to maintain a repository on housing matters.
