The DEFCON (Defence Readiness Condition) represents the threat level currently facing the personnel aboard an Imperial station or planetary base. Starfighters, distinguished by all-black flight suits and fully-enclosed, vacuum-sealed helmets, remain ready for any flight operation.
DEFCON 5 - Regular Duties
Proceed with standard duties. Personnel should only have weapons on safety while guarding or conducting a patrol.
DEFCON 4 - Personnel on Alert
All Starfighter personnel should cease low-priority activities, immediately report to the Secondary Hangar Bay, and await further orders from a superior or Bridge Command.
DEFCON 3 & 2 - Personnel to Battlestations
All regular duties should be ceased if possible; personnel should report to their pre-assigned Battlestations. Starfighter personnel should immediately enter their TIEs and await further orders, engaging with hostile fighters as necessary.
DEFCON 1 - Abandon Station
Abandon your TIE fighters and enter Troop Transports, evacuating as many Imperial personnel to a secure location. Once as many personnel are evacuated, immediately re-engage hostile fighters.
As a member of the Imperial Starfighter Corps. We can be assigned any normal Naval Sectors apon being called for Sector Assignments however there are a few unique Sectors for Starfighter personnel you can be assigned to do during Sector Assignments. While completing your Sector Assignments, keep in mind these are low priority activities and our priority first and foremost is being prepared to immediately scramble into the airspace and destroy any enemies of the empire.Â
Station Detail is ensuring the station is ready for a potential attack. This includes inspecting ships to make sure they are up to standard as well as being on call for any Engineering Tasks that may need to be done. While working station detail you will be expected to keep an eye on comms in case someone requires an Engineer as well as helping ensure all supplies are unpacked and loaded into the proper areas.
Sector Patrols consist of patrolling the airspace around the ISD, Pandora Light Cruiser and the surface of any planet we may be stationed over. You are expected to land periodically at both the ISD and the Pandora Light Cruiser in order to report any findings to Air Traffic Control (ATC) and ensure no other ships have landed there without clearance. You are our first line of defense while sector assignments are being done. You are to also assist any pilot's doing a Cargo run by providing Escort.
Cargo Runs require you to be Hyperspaced to Tattooine as they are supply runs that are delivered to either the Ground Control Center or the Starport in Tattooine Town. You are to report to Main Hangar Bay and call for the Cargo using your Datapad, You start the run and wait one minute for the ship, You then take off. Beware Rebels love attempting to destroy the cargo you are transporting, it is recomended to have an escort ready to protect you as you deliver precious Imperial Cargo. There is a 10 minute cooldown between Cargo Runs so it is recommended to be assigned a secondary sector to complete during that time.
