Dr. Gowri (ex post doc) who has always been inclined towards entrepreneurship has achieved a significant career milestone by being awarded best start-up pitch at Chandigarh Angels Network's event for her live pitch at Punjab State Technical Council. She has developed a sunscreen cream based on fully organic biomass- and nano-based materials in the GJ'sGroup.
She also won a prize of 25K for her pitch, which was deemed the most impressive in the competition.
It's encouraging to hear that people are interested in funding her business. Hopefully, she can get off to a successful start.
