"Prince Dad 2023"

Given (they/he) is a drag king/draglesque/clown performer in Portland, Oregon. who loves serving the unexpected. He is a purveyor of performances that blend the exquisitely curated artsy with the chaotically fartsy. Their artisanal antics prance between the charming and the captivating, the riotous and the reverent - the silly and the swelteringly saucy. Given is a WILD CARD! And he always comes bearing surprises. If they’re on stage, get ready for storytime! 

He’s worked his magic at Melange, Twirl - Portland’s queer disco party, Drunk Herstory, Dapperlesque, Belle Supper Club, Jack London Burly-Q Revue, the 2 year long voyage SPACE series (which travels through the heavenly bodies in our solar system) as the embodiment of the Sun, and so many more phenomenal shows in Portland! Their werk was featured at the 2023 THEYFRIEND Nonbinary Performance Festival in SF AND they were recently crowned "Prince Dad" at King Dad: A Drag Kings & Things Competition.

Given is also a co-creator of the local queer public access variety TV show "Magic Night at the Trans Bar with Max & Mars & Given & Urks & Friends!” featuring drag, sketch comedy, musical wizardry, and so much more! (3 seasons on Vimeo for your streaming pleasure!)
