"Hey y'all! My name is Tracy Ly and I am currently a sophomore at Stanford University prospectively majoring in Management Science and Engineering. Around campus, I'm a part of the Stanford Cheer Team, Stanford Vietnamese Student Association, Stanford Synapse, Stanford Pre-Business Association, and Mua Lac Hong Dance Group. I enjoy taking walks with my friends and family, playing tennis, and watching international films in my free time.

GIVE 2 SAVE is a cause by which I can dedicate my life's mission: empowering underrepresented and impoverished communities in Vietnam and around our world to pave a better path for future generations in these areas. As the 2020-2021 President, I look forward to leading creative initiatives to combat poverty in Vietnam and continue to bring key issues in Vietnam to young impact seekers in the United States."

"Hello, my name is Jose Cabrera and I currently attend the University of Houston. I'm a freshman majoring in Computer Science. I enjoy playing basketball with my friends and meeting new people.

To me, GIVE 2 SAVE is an opportunity to learn about the struggles of impoverished international communities and enact change to effectively improve conditions for upcoming generations. This organization is an integral part of my life's values and I will commit to GIVE 2 SAVE's mission long-term. As the 2021 Vice President, I want to help grow our organization to reach its goal of spreading awareness about these key issues to our youth and creating sustainable measures to alleviate poverty in Vietnam."

"Hi, I'm Tammy and I am an incoming junior in high school. In my free time, I like to spend time with my friends and build connections. I also enjoy competing in academic competitions, including debate.

Being in GIVE 2 SAVE completely changed my outlook on the world. Living in Vietnam for so long, I've become desensitized to poverty; it was everywhere I looked. During the trip, I saw people who became disabled trying to work their way out of poverty so their children could have a better future. It was devastating to see how working the only job they could based off the economic and geographic position they were born into disabled them. For me, this was a wake up call. It showed me that just because I'm not personally affected by something doesn't mean that other people aren't. It may sound like such a simple thing, but when adversity doesn't personally affect you, you just don't see how bad it gets."

"Hi, my name is Dadrien Whittington, and I am an incoming freshman studying Political Science at the University of Texas at Austin. I was President of my high school's National Honor Society and Student Council. I was also Vice President of Mu Alpha Theta and Government Today and Tomorrow, as well as a Leo Club Board Member. I enjoy playing tennis and competitively debating.

GIVE 2 SAVE is an opportunity for me and others to look beyond the problems of our privileged life and to gain an understanding of the struggles of those abroad. As the GIVE 2 SAVE treasurer, I hope to dedicate my time and energy to help ensure that all of its plans are possible and to ensure we aren't held back by any financial barriers."

"Hi! My name is Tina Ly, and I’m a small girl with big aspirations! I have always strived to be the best I could be in any pursuit. Helping others and creating a more friendly environment for those around me is one of the many things I have to offer.

Undeniably, what drew my attention to the Give 2 Save was its dedication of informing the public of poverty. We, as community leaders, are held with the responsibility of preparing the next generation impact seekers. Poverty is real and it’s continually disregarded. Once I finally realized the devastating conditions these deserving individuals face, I immediately joined the Give 2 Save to make a positive difference in the world. I joined to make a change, and I will carry on pursuing this desire of mine.

I truly admire this organization’s strive to provide a better life for those impoverished. Through this organization, I have learned how fortunate I am to live in a country full of opportunities.
