My overall impression on this application was positive. It was easy to use, however I didn’t like the fact that a lot of what they marketed was not on the free version. I would recommend this to my peers, students, and parents, as I do believe that the collaboration included can be very helpful to keep track of upcoming events, tasks, homework, assignments etc. It will keep students on track, and allow them to work on organizational skills.
What differentiates this product from the rest is the collaboration, and the reminders on different platforms such as twitter, email, and mobile app (Pro version). I also liked the “nearby” feature as seeing all tasks can be overwhelming for many, and this will break it down for them.
Another pro to this application is that you can add attachments, which is great for visual learners. As a student who may require a more step by step instruction, this would be a great avenue to allow for additional information to be posted. You can also increase the font/text size and dictate instead of typing out the task for individuals requiring this assistance.
As this application is helpful for all ages who may have difficulty with executive functioning such as goal setting, time-management, or prioritizing and organizing. I would say that this would be a major plus for them.
I would recommend this to parents, teachers, and peers. For parents it is a great way to be included in their child’s day to day, and can also be broadened and used at home. For the student, it is an effective application to keep them organized and have all tasks in one spot. Also, for collaboration purposes with other peers. For teachers, it is a good option for students that require the additional reminder to stay on track.
