Since October, 1st 2024, Giulia Cisotto has become Assistant Professor (tenure-track, RTT) at the Department of Mathematics, Informatics and Geosciences of the University of Trieste (Italy).
She was a post-doctoral Research Fellow (2015-2019) and an Assistant Professor (2019-2022) at the Department of Information Engineering of the University of Padova (Italy). Then, she was an Assistant Professor (2022-2024) at the Department of Informatics, Systems and Communication of the University of Milano-Bicocca (Italy), where she joined the MUDILab from March to October 2024. Between 2014 and 2015, she was a Research Associate at the Department of Biosciences and Informatics of Keio University in Tokyo (Japan).
On July, 8th 2024, she obtained her Italian National Scientific Habilitation for the role of Associate Professor in the field of Telecommunication Engineering.
She is also master of classic piano (graduation in 2006 from the Conservatory "G. Tartini" of Trieste, Italy) and of futsal (winner of the 2022's amateur "Tuttocampocup" futsal league edition). She is beginner of jazz tenor sax.
