Giulia Cisotto is Tenure-Track Assistant Professor (RTT) at the Department of Mathematics, Informatics and Geosciences of the University of Trieste, Italy.Â
Since 2019, she had been non-tenure Assistant Professor at the Department of Informatics, Systems and Communication of the University of Milano-Bicocca (2022-2024) and at the Department of Information Engineering of the University of Padova (2019-2022). She was a post-doctoral researcher from 2015 to 2019 in Padova, and Research Associate at the Department of Biosciences and Informatics of Keio University of Tokyo in Japan.
She obtained her Italian National Scientific Habilitation for the role of Associate Professor in the field of Computer Science (2025) and in the field of Telecommunication Engineering (2024).
She is Master of classic piano (graduated in 2006 at the Conservatory "G. Tartini" of Trieste, Italy) and of futsal (winner of the 2022's amateur "Tuttocampocup" futsal league edition).
She enjoys musics, sports, and travelling.
