Advanced concepts of ballistic protection
by experiment/simulation correlation and optimization
This project aims to develop a robust methodology for the design of passive protection systems based on a functional approach. This methodology is based on an experiment-numerical simulation correlation and the coupling between finite element code calculations and an optimization module in an advanced design approach. The analysis has been carried out at the Institut Clément Ader (ICA), located at 3 Rue Caroline Aigle d’Aigle, 31400 Toulouse.
