WELCOME
I'm currently employed as Tenure-Track Assistant Professor (RTDb) at the Dipartimento di Matematica ed Informatica "Ulisse Dini" of the Università di Firenze. In 2020, I attained the Italian Habilitation as Associate Professor in Sector 01/A3 “Mathematical Analysis, Probability, and Statistics” (abilitazione scientifica nazionale).
Previously I was employed as a: Postdoctoral Fellow at the Friedrich-Alexander Universität, Erlangen–Nürnberg; Postdoctoral Fellow at the Dipartimento di Matematica "F. Casorati" of the Università di Pavia, Pavia; Postdoctoral Fellow at the Calculus of Variations and Multiscale Analysis' group of SISSA, Trieste; Fixed-Term Assistant Professor at the Dipartimento di Matematica of the Università di Trento. I also held two long-term INdAM visiting fellowship at the Jyväskylän yliopisto and at the Technische Universität München.
My main research interests are functional inequalities with a geometric and/or spectral flavor, shape optimization problems, and geometric PDEs.
