About UNSC
Having been established as early as the UN itself, the UNSC is one of the six “principal organs” of the United Nations, striving to ensure world peace and safety through their many peacekeeper missions. The security council consists of 15 members, with each member having one vote.
The UNSC determines the existence of threats and disputes and the world's response to it. This committee is the last line of peaceful resolutions, and its existence is so integral, it has the power to impose sanctions and authorize the use of force to maintain or restore global peace.
