Eczema is a chronic inflammatory skin disorder that weakens the skinโs barrier. Eczema is a type of dermatitis, the general term for skin inflammation. Generally, eczema is caused by genetics, a family history of eczema, or allergies. It can also be triggered by your immune system, environmental factors, and emotional outbreaks.ย
The total population for children is 2.2 billion with 440 million children having Eczema (20%). The total population for adults is 5.862 billion with 1.1724 billion adults having Eczema (10%). Approximately, 10% of the population around the world has eczema.
