Mystery bus trip 29 June 2023

Our first stop was to a little secret shop in Camden Village Arcade, Camden called the Chocolate Library. It was a delightful shop filled with amazing creations all made from quality chocolate - a must for Christmas shopping (or your own indulgence).

Our next stop was to another unknown beauty spot in Picton, the Picton Railway Viaduct over Stonequarry Creek, built in 1860's and still in use with no modifications today.  A beautiful, relaxing, natural haven tucked away in Picton. It was also the site of the first Picton Baths, formed in the creek and banks.

Burragorang lookout and picnic area - High above Warragamba Dam, on a Blue Mountains escarpment, Burragorang lookout and picnic area is a viewing point for nature’s great beauty. From up here, you can look across one of New South Wales’ most precious resources – that huge body of water far below provides about 80 per cent of Sydney’s water supply.

The Wollondilly Heritage Centre and Museum is run and staffed by volunteers from The Oaks Historical Society.

To finish our trip a relaxing visit to the Razorback Ridge vineyard which is located at the base of the Razorback Range in Menangle.

Today was not a small adventure. The weather was perfect, a little chilly but that is to be expected. Everything from the Choclatiere in Camden to the surprise relaxation afternoon at Razorback Winery. You have set the bar super high.
