The Nook - A Day Time Eatery

The Nook is a wonderful breakfast spot that is across the street from the Gilbert Regional Park.  I love the environment and atmosphere of the Nook.  It is a local breakfast and lunch restaurant that specializes in great food and memories.  One element of The Nook that i personally enjoy is that it is locally owned and not a large chain breakfast spot.  Don't get me wrong large chain restaurants have their place, but something special about eating at a locally owned and operated breakfast nook :).

They are known for their frsh made biscuits and gravy.  I have never been a biscuits and gravy person, but my friend who introduced me to the nook loves ordering them when we go.  The Nook is simple in all the right ways but unique, special, and tasty where it matters.  They have simple but delicious black coffee, eggs scrambles, pancakes, omelettes for breakfast.  I personally go back and forth between bacon avocado scramble or the avocado toast.  Both are exceptional.

My sons love either the cinnamon rolls or french toast.  I have had small bites of each of these orders and they are all delicious.  One of the things I enjoy is that all of the portions are a good size.  We have gone for breakfast more than we have gone for lunch.  The service is great, the staff is welcoming, kind and patient.  There is a patio so they do offer both inside or outside seating. In the hotter summer months the patio does have misters to help keep you cool without making you wet.
