Location and Parking
Campus Directions
Symposium registration and many presentations will take place in the Besse-Forward Global Resource Center (building 5), on the northwest side of campus, on 12th Street, between Kentucky and Florida Streets.
Additional presentations and activities will take place in the Miller Library (building 19, near the center of the campus), Harlan Hall (building 17 on 12th Street), and the Student Memorial Center (building 46).
Parking is available at the west end of campus in the large lot between the Fine Arts Center Theater (building 13) and the Juan Chacon Bldg (building 21). Side street parking is also available, though not ample.
Directions from Out of Town
From the south (Deming) on Hwy 180: Take 180 almost all the way through town until you see a sign for Alabama St. (Note: Hwy 180 turns right at the Sun Valley Do It Store) Take a left onto Alabama, go up a hill and proceed several blocks to 12th St., then turn right. Proceed a few blocks to Kentucky St. Turn left, then right into the parking lot.
From the northwest (Glenwood, Cliff) on Hwy 180: Soon after entering Silver City you will see a sign for Alabama St. Take a right here, go up a hill and proceed several blocks to 12th St., then turn right. Proceed a few blocks to Kentucky St. Turn left, then right into the parking lot.
From the south (Lordsburg) on Hwy 90: Stay on 90 / Hudson Street through Silver City until you come to 12th St., the third light. Take a left here, and proceed several blocks to Kentucky St. Turn left, then right into the parking lot.
