Designed to increase exposure to the field of surgery and surgical procedural techniques, the SCALPELS curriculum employs multiple learning modalities to foster surgical interest and growth among SKMC students. The SCALPELS curriculum is a supplemental curriculum open to all years and provides longitudinal learning throughout all four years of medical school running parallel to JeffMD.
