Originally from North Carolina and Princeton, New Jersey, Isabella pursued her undergraduate studies at the University of California, Santa Barbara, where she earned a degree in Aquatic Biology and Sociology. Outside of her academic interests, she enjoys engaging in outdoor activities such as surfing and rock climbing.

Fun fact: I really enjoy woodworking!

Marissa is born and raised in Lancaster, PA and is a graduate of Franklin and Marshall College where she studied Neuroscience and Spanish. She enjoys tennis, running, cooking, and practices meditation regularly!

Fun fact: I can ride a unicycle… and a motorcycle. 

Bella grew up in NYC and graduated from Harvard College in 2021. Before med school, she worked in research at Memorial Sloan Kettering. She is an avid runner, cook, and consumer of all things pop culture.

Fun fact: I've seen every episode of Hot Ones!

Athina grew up in Pennsylvania and earned her Bachelor’s degree in Engineering from Lehigh University, where she was a member of the Equestrian team. Before medical school, she worked in Biopharma. Outside of medicine, Athina enjoys skiing, exploring Philadelphia’s food scene, and trying new workout classes.

Fun fact: I have a horse named Gucci mane 

Sarah was born and raised outside of Boston, Massachusetts before attending the University of Delaware, graduating with a degree in Human Physiology and minors in French, Biochemistry and Medical Humanities. She is a dog lover and enjoys snowboarding and golfing.

Fun fact: I read over 50 books last year! My favorite was Demon Copperhead or the Throne of Glass series.

Jared was born outside Philly and attended Vanderbilt University for undergrad. He enjoys all things sports, music, and the outdoors. Favorite places he’s been are Patagonia in Chile and Banff in Canada.

Fun fact: I played basketball for Kobe Bryant’s alma mater, Lower Merion.

Anu is originally from the Philly suburbs and graduated from Case Western Reserve University in 2022. Before starting medical school, she spent a  year doing clinical research in the PICU at Rainbow Babies & Children's Hospital in Cleveland. Outside of medicine, you can usually find her running along the Schuylkill or camped out at a coffee shop.

 
Fun fact: I've watched Modern Family all the way through five times!

Christina completed her undergraduate degrees in Biology and Religious Studies at the University of Pennsylvania and conducted childhood obesity research at Children's Hospital of Philadelphia. Originally from Indiana, she has been a lifelong dancer and dance instructor. In her free time, she enjoys baking, watching documentaries, and spending time with animals.

Fun fact: I once owned 17 pets at the same time — one of the perks of growing up in the country!

Kelsey is a graduate of Taylor University in Indiana and came to Philadelphia from Providence, Rhode Island. She prefers to spend her time at the beach, tries to go outside for every sunset, and loves dogs more than the average person. 

Fun fact: I’ve lived in twelve US states! 

Krishna was born and raised in Southern California and attended Penn State University. His hobbies include rooting for Penn State Football, hiking, and traveling.

Fun fact: I’ve swam with sharks in open water! 

Ava is from State College, PA and attended the University of Notre Dame for undergrad. In her free time, she likes to rock climb, camp, and watch scary movies (not while camping though!).

Fun fact: Fraternal twins run in my family! My grandma had 3 sets of twins, my dad is a twin, my dad had twins (my older brother and sister), and my dad's twin also had twins (my cousins).

Madeline is from Bryn Mawr, PA and went to college at UPenn. Prior to SKMC, she worked in healthcare consulting and pharmaceuticals and then completed her Post Bacc at Jefferson. For fun, she loves all outdoor activities—playing pickle ball, hiking, skiing, and exploring the city.

Fun fact: I have a rooftop fruit & vegetable garden in Philly!

Juan grew up in Yorktown, Virginia and attended the College of William & Mary. He spent five years in management consulting before completing a post-bac and coming to SKMC. He loves playing soccer, hiking, and will try any new food (at least) once!

Fun fact(s): I was born in Colombia, and I played professional beach soccer after college.
