Elizabeth grew up in Gladwyne, PA and obtained her Bachelor's from Wesleyan University. Post-grad, she was a middle school science teacher in Hartford, CT. Her hobbies include reading, staying active, enjoying the amazing food in Philadelphia, and is an avid movie lover!

Fun fact:  I’ve been cliff jumping in three different countries!

Betsy grew up in Bucks County, PA before heading up to Boston for college at Harvard. She worked in GI Cancer research at Massachusetts General Hospital for two years before returning to Philadelphia for medical school. Outside of school, Betsy loves to cook, attend Soul Cycle Classes, and watch the New York Mets. 

Fun fact: I’m distantly related to Frank Sinatra… but don’t ask me to sing!  

Samantha hails from Niles, MI and is a proud graduate of the University of Notre Dame (Go Irish!), where she received a BS in Science-Business with minors in Anthropology and Science, Technology, and Values (STV). In her free time, she enjoys playing the piano, painting, bookbinding, and learning about outer space. 

Fun fact: I'm a triplet (two brothers)!

Jeff is originally from New Jersey. He went to college at University of Pennsylvania where he was captain of the men’s varsity tennis team. During his gap year he worked as an investment banking analyst. He will be applying into general surgery and is interested in CT surgery!

Fun fact: I have a 100 lb pit bull named Tuna!

Noah was born just outside of Philly but grew up in sunny South Florida. He earned his undergraduate degree in Biology from the University of Central Florida before finding his way back to the City of Brotherly Love for medical school! His interests include golf, tennis, classic comedic films, and strategizing ways to travel the world using credit card points. 

Fun fact: I can't read sheet music, but I can play a bunch of songs on my guitar! 

Shady is from Tampa, Florida. He attended Yale University, where he received his Bachelor of Science in Molecular, Cellular, and Developmental Biology with Distinction. His interests include soccer and swimming. He loves to spend time with his family and learn more about Christian apologetics.

Fun fact: I have seen the Great Pyramids of Giza.

Cullen was raised in Camden, Delaware before going to the University of Delaware for undergraduate, where she received her BS in Biology and BA in Spanish Studies. Outside of school, she loves curling up with a good book with her cat Tiger, enjoying live music and taking spin class.

Fun fact: In the last year I saw 18 concerts, my favorites were Sabrina Carpenter and Bleachers!

Julia grew up in Summit, NJ and graduated from Vanderbilt University with a BA in Geology and minor in Math. She enjoys needlepoint, baking sourdough and doing Pilates in her free time. 

Fun fact: My dog Porter is named after my favorite cut of beef, a Porterhouse. 

James is from Newport Beach, California and attended college at UCLA. His interests include Chargers football, weightlifting, and making ice cream.

Fun fact: I have Ehlers-Danlos syndrome 

Prior to joining SKMC, Julia completed her undergraduate degrees in Biochemistry and Dance at Barnard College, Columbia University in New York and pursued clinical research at the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia Thyroid Center. Her parents emigrated from Poland in their twenties, and she grew up outside of Philadelphia. Outside of medicine, she loves to do hot yoga and dance. 

Fun fact: I used to be a national award-winning tap dancer!

Kelsey is a graduate of Taylor University in Indiana and came to Philadelphia from Providence, Rhode Island. She prefers to spend her time at the beach, tries to go outside for every sunset, and loves dogs more than the average person. 

Fun fact: I’ve lived in twelve US states! 

Marissa is born and raised in Lancaster, PA and is a graduate of Franklin and Marshall College where she studied Neuroscience and Spanish. She enjoys tennis, running, cooking, and practices meditation regularly!

Fun fact: I can ride a unicycle… and a motorcycle 

Originally from North Carolina and Princeton, New Jersey, Isabella pursued her undergraduate studies at the University of California, Santa Barbara, where she earned a degree in Aquatic Biology and Sociology. Outside of her academic interests, she enjoys engaging in outdoor activities such as surfing and rock climbing.

Fun fact: I really enjoy woodworking!

Bella grew up in NYC and graduated from Harvard College in 2021. She is an avid runner, cook, and consumer of all things pop culture.

Krishna was born and raised in Southern California and attended Penn State University. His hobbies include rooting for Penn State Football, hiking, and traveling.

Fun fact: I’ve swam with sharks in open water! 

Ava is from State College, PA and attended the University of Notre Dame for undergrad. In her free time, she likes to rock climb, camp, and watch scary movies (not while camping though!).

Fun fact: Fraternal twins run in my family! My grandma had 3 sets of twins, my dad is a twin, my dad had twins (my older brother and sister), and my dad's twin also had twins (my cousins).

Madeline is from Bryn Mawr, PA and went to college at UPenn. For fun, she loves all outdoor activities—playing pickle ball, hiking, skiing, and exploring the city.

Fun fact: I have a rooftop fruit & vegetable garden in Philly!

Juan grew up in Yorktown, Virginia and attended the College of William & Mary. He spent five years in management consulting before completing a post-bac and coming to SKMC. He loves playing soccer, hiking, and will try any new food (at least) once! 

Fun fact(s): I was born in Colombia, and I played professional beach soccer after college.
