About Gianna Cafasso

Hi! My name is Gianna Cafasso and I'm from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Currently, I'm a junior studying Digital Marketing with a double minor in Music Industry and Graphic Design at Baldwin Wallace University. Thus far in my career, I've gotten the opportunity to hold an internship with a local Cleveland band, another with a Pittsburgh entertainment venue, and one on-campus job. Additionally, I am in the process of beginning a new position as a Digital Marketing Intern with Refresh Digital Strategy.

Current Work

Additionally, for the past year and a half, I have had the privilege of working as a Marketing Intern at Stage AE in my hometown of Pittsburgh. During my time at this concert venue, I have engaged in various marketing projects throughout the facility, ranging from simply hanging flyers to market for shows to organizing to directly strategizing on how to make a show more profitable. It has been one of the greatest opportunities I've ever been given.

Future Plans

After college, I hope to work in some aspect of the music industry doing content/digital marketing and/or graphic design. I have always been incredibly passionate about the arts, growing up going to concerts and attending a performing arts high school, and I aim to use that drive in my career endeavors. Marketing and/or designing within a venue, for an artist or promoter, or even in another aspect of the entertainment industry such as film is where I see myself thriving. I plan to develop the skills I’ve already gained through coursework and internships while I continue my learning journey and into my career. Skills that I’ve learned and enjoyed through my experiences so far include promotion, SEO, content marketing, poster and logo design, marketing for the music industry, and music copyright law.
