At the 2025 Birkbeck, University of London Open Day, I delivered a taster lecture introducing prospective undergraduate students to key concepts in psychology and neuroscience. The session aimed to give attendees a feel for the course content and teaching style at Birkbeck.

Science should not stay locked up in an ivory tower. That’s why, students and researchers from the Center of Cognitive Neuroscience once a year team up to engage with the local community, show what we are doing in the lab and teach something about research and neuroscience.

Together with Prof. Sara Garofalo and Dr. Francesca Starita, with a series of examples and practical exercises, we showed how to question the source of the numbers encountered in everyday life, the completeness of the information received, what is represented in a graph and if the data showed have been measured correctly.
2019 - TATE modern:

Science and Art met at the TATE modern in London for the Moving Humans event exhibition.
I created what we called the "Heart Translator", a device that allows participants to feel the heartbeat of dancers as they perform. All throughout, we recorded the heartbeat of the participants to test whether they synchronized with the heart of the dancers.
