Ethics

This activity explores the person-situation debate and examines the consequences of crossing ethical boundaries in psychological experiments. In psychology, ethical guidelines are extremely important, as they are in place to protect not only the integrity of the research but also the research subjects from possible harm.  This assignment prompted me to reflect on the damage caused by the Milgram and Stanford Prison Experiments, highlighting the consequences of dismissing ethical concerns.
