General Assembly members are expected to write resolutions, extensively detailed, formal solutions to global issues, in preparation for conferences. They must also analyze and write speeches on the confirmed resolution docket. *Resolution/Speech formats and tips can be found in the writing tab*

The Dias, or the head of the general assembly, regulates and administers the conference. He is in charge of choosing which countries will speak.

Unlike Council, in General Assembly there are two representatives per country. This means that you are not alone, and it also means that teamwork is an extremely crucial value. Partners working together can look like one presenting a speech while the other rapidly writes one for the next resolution. Partners may also split up to go to different caucuses and meet back together and share information.
There are different subgroups in General Assembly in which each country is categorized into. (Some countries may be a part of more than one caucus.) Some examples of caucuses include the European Union, Islamic Cooperation, and the Arab League. Countries in each caucus share their points of views on resolutions as they have similarities and can work together for yield time. They also formulate a resolution for crises.
