Ms. Martoccio:

Hi Everyone!  I am Julie Martoccio.  I attended Purdue Northwest where I received a bachelor degree in elementary education.  I also received my master degree and administrator schooling at Purdue Northwest.  Personally, I am married, have 2 amazing children and a French bulldog.  I enjoy spending time with family and friends, reading, and shopping.  I also love sports especially, football and baseball.  I look forward to working with the GJSHS families and students.

Hello! My name is Elise Sintes, and this is my second year at Griffith Jr/Sr High School. I am excited to be here working with such a great group of students and educators. I grew up in the region, and received my Master's degree in school counseling from Purdue University Northwest. I love spending time with my daughter, and making all kinds of things: food, holiday decorations, etc.  Let's all have a GREAT school year!

Hello students! I earned my M.Ed.S in School Counseling at Valparaiso University. I love spending my time outdoors biking, backpacking, and camping. I look forward to working with you and seeing you grow into young adults. Feel free to drop in the guidance office to say hi!

My name is Michelle Udchitz. I have worked for the guidance department at GHS for fifteen years before leaving in 2018 to work with the Career and Technical Education programs at the Hammond Area Career Center. 

In 2021, I decided to return to Griffith because I missed working with the students and staff members here.   I am passionate about helping students explore career paths. I am a lifelong resident of Griffith and have also graduated from this fabulous high school. I am married with two sons both of whom graduated from GHS.   I enjoy reading, fishing, and spending time with family and friends.
