Welcome to the project that encourages students to research a country other then there own and document there finding in microsoft word! In the end students pair up and work together to make a presentation based on the two countries they picked. The purpose of this project is to expact on Microsoft offie skills and to successfully collaborate with others to make well thought out results!
I chose Canada and Estrella chose El Salvador! We worked on this project together and did our best to point out interesting facts about each country. Something I found interesting when comparing our individual research was that although Canada has a greater population then El Salvador, both populations use the internet about the same! The article Estrella and I read emphasized the importance of Government websites and the need to handle accounts for bills online!
Before I worked with Estrella to design and plan out our power point we were each responsible to organize our information in our own Microsoft word document. Take a look at mine!
Here you will see more about my finding for Canada, and you can take the time and check it out!
Although I didn't learn much about microsoft word i had lots of fun making my document! I really took the time to embrace the themes and aesthetics word has built into it. When I collaborated with Estrella, I learned that you always have to check the settings for sharing! When I shared the PowerPoint with Estrella so we could work on it, she unfortunately didn't have access for a whole day because... I didn't give her any. Fortunately, that wasn't a big setback, and she was very kind, but if this were a different setting, that mistake could have been unprofessional and a bad first impression.
