As humans evolve, so do the tools they use to maintain everyday expectations and quality of life. From AI all the way to small gadgets, something is always being created to make a revolutionary change to the world and how it functions. In this project, we take a look at some of those emerging technologies and take a peek at how they may affect our future society and lifestyles.
Ammonia production has been around since the beginning of time in the Earth's nitrogen cycle. Humans started to. replicate the process in factories around WW2 times. Ammobia revolutionized a sustainable patent in 2025! As someone who is always interested in preserving our environment for future generations, I wanted to stray away from the AI technologies that were emerging and focus on the ones that are more planet-focused.
Even though ammonia from Ammobia.co is manufactured under HABOR-BOSCH 2.0 conditions, producing green ammonia, that doesn't mean that CO2 emissions are zero. Technology can still be improved with the help of science to create even more sustainable and efficient ammonia production!
This project really emphasized the importance of keeping track of research sources. I don't think PowerPoint has a built-in citation tool like Word. I had to organize myself with a Word document, which helped me keep track of my references!
Additionally, I learned that in order to embed a PowerPoint into a Google Slides, you have to move the PowerPoint into a Google Drive first. Managing where your files go and why they can't reach their destination became a very big part of this project! I was grateful to get hands-on experience in this area of digital literacy.
