“Your Bundle of Joy” idea was born in 2018 after I got laid off from my previous job. This was a wake-up call that motivated me to start thinking about launching my own business. Different ideas crossed my mind, but one day, while playing with my little baby girl, I remembered how hard it was for me to know what to buy when I was pregnant with my first baby. The first idea was to create a newborn starter kit to help moms-to-be buy all the items they will need since day one, based on my experience with 2 babies (diapers, wipes, feeding bottles, pacifier, shower gel, shampoo…). Then the idea evolved to selling different bundles at different budgets: the shower bundle, the nappy time bundle, the grooming bundle...
For different reasons, among which some procrastination from my side, I postponed the launching of the idea. In July 2020, my husband’s cousin delivered a baby girl and while thinking about the gift to offer, I said to myself: “Why not offer her a Bundle Of Joy?” In those times of economic turmoil, parents needed a lot of support, especially with the rising prices of newborn and baby essentials. My husband liked the idea, so we went for it! And that was how the first Bundle Of Joy was born and it motivated me to start working seriously on my Instagram and Facebook pages.
