Outreach and Engagement

Dr. Beeler and I lead a fun water camp this summer. Students learned about the water cycle, what controls water quality, and we even got to sample multiple locations in the Black Hills. A highlight (or at least a memorable few hours) was the trip to the Rapid City Wastewater Treatment Facility where we learned about how our city manages waste and ensures that Rapid Creek remains healthy.
