Standard Operation Procedures
COMBAT AND PRIORITIZING CONTACT:
PRIORITIZING CONTACTS…
When being engaged by a mixed or larger force than your squad you should prioritize contacts by 2 main rules.
1. WHAT CONTACT IS THE MOST IMMEDIATE THREAT
Any enemy contact that has clean eyes on you or another member of your squad/fireteam and has the full ability to deal damage and injure you is highest priority.
2. WHAT CONTACT DEALS THE MOST DAMAGE OR BIGGEST THREAT
When engaging a group of infantry you should always look for what contact does the most damage.
Ex-
Wraiths are a heavy artillery type tank and have the ability to do crippling damage to UNSC forces
Elite Spec ops- Special force infantry of the Covenant and a difficult enemy to defeat
Jackal Snipers- Have long range sniper rifles with the ability to counter our own and can do a large amount of damage to friendly forces
Hunters- Have the ability to deploy and fire heavy plasma bursts capable of killing multiple UNSC all at once
DO NOTE ALL EXAMPLES AND THIS RULE COME AFTER RULE NUMBER ONE
When calling out contacts for other detachments or the main force you should be using something similar to this format.
“Hey you, you have x3 contacts of Elites to your northwest”-Ex
“Main force you have 1x Wraith and a group of Grunts and Elites heading your way from your northwest”-Ex2
When using Cover or breaching a building in an attempt to do CQC in a hostile environment use PIE method (See picture below)
