FAQs for applying for our Scholarships

• How do I apply?

Each scholarship we offer is unique so follow their instructions. Some you may fill out online and upload your additional files. Others may require you to download and print them out and email or mail in.

• How much money does the scholarship provide? 

Each scholarship we offer is unique and has an intention.  Historically scholarships have ranged in award amounts from $500 up to $5000.

• Am I eligible? Do I meet the requirements?

Carefully read and consider the requirements for each scholarship to determine if you are eligible to apply. You may apply for more than one, but you may only apply once for each scholarship unless it is renewable.  If you have a question please contact us at GFWCTFallsmt@gmail.com.

• Do I have to have a Gmail account to apply?

No, you may enter any valid email address in application; however, if you have a Gmail account Google Forms will automatically save your progress for 30 days so that you can work across devices or take a break without losing a step.  No matter what email account you use, A copy of all your responses will be emailed to you at the address you provide after submitting the application form. 

• When I click on the GFWCTFallsmt@gmail.com link, it opens a new browser tab with an "about:blank" page. How do I email the required documents to complete my application?

In the address bar where "about:blank" appears, Type in your email provider.  For example, for a yahoo email account type "yahoo.com" or for Hotmail email type "hotmail.com" or for Gmail type "google.com", press enter, and login to your email account.  Create/compose an email addressed to GFWCTFallsmt@gmail.com with your name and the name of the scholarship you are applying for in the subject line.  Attach the required documents to the email and press send.  Then click on the tab with your open scholarship application form, check off each of the required attachments you just sent to complete the application and submit your completed scholarship application for consideration.

• What's the deadline I need to apply by?

The deadline will be listed for each scholarship and allows us time to consider each applicant.

• When will I be notified if I received the scholarship?

Most awards are provided within a few months of their application deadlines, all are based upon proof of your enrollment or completion.

• Can I change my application after it is submitted? 

Once you click "Submit" your application responses cannot be changed.
