Honoring the motto of “Unity in Diversity,” we come together as unique individuals dedicated to community improvement to support the arts, preserve natural resources, advance education, promote healthy lifestyles, and encourage civic involvement, issues related to domestic and sexual violence awareness/prevention, and advocating for children. We have served northwestern Montana for over 100 years!

The General Federation of Women’s Clubs (GFWC) – a women’s organization dedicated to community improvement by enhancing the lives of others through volunteer service – urges you to enact the Kids Online Safety Act (KOSA, S. 1748) establishing a legally relevant “duty of care” for social media companies to alter design platform features that harm children.
GFWC 's signature program focus areas are diverse and include campus sexual assault, child abuse, elder abuse, human trafficking, intimate partner violence, military sexual assault, teen dating violence, and violence against Native American women. One of our many efforts is our "Moving Forward with Dignity" project will be supporting victims of domestic violence as they transition out of safe homes provided by the Sanders County Coalition for Families and the YWCA Missoula. We also offer $2000 scholarships to survivors of Domestic Violence.
Running Start was created by Reading Is Fundamental (RIF)" was first hosted by the Thompson Falls Woman's Club in October, 1995. Each year since we work with the schools to encourage a new generation of readers!
The Challenge Is On! Open to all 9th-12th grade students residing in Sanders County.
Quarterly draws held for a $25 and a $10 gift card. You enter by reporting books read during the quarter in person or via email to the Thompson Falls Public Library. Print books, eBooks, and audiobooks all count!
