High School students or re-entering adults accepted at a 2 or 4 year academic college or technical program, whether studying online or on campus may apply for this renewable scholarship.
Applicant must demonstrate a financial need and be a legal resident of Sanders County, Montana for the last 3 years as a student recently completing their high school education within the Sanders County school system or home schooled in Sanders county, or a re-entering adult living in Sanders county, Montana.
Historically award amounts have ranged from $500 to $5,000.

High School students or re-entering adults accepted into a school or program for a trade may apply. Examples: Culinary, Cosmetology, Land surveyors, Dental Hygienists, Welders, Electricians, Plumbers, ...
Applicant must demonstrate a financial need and be a legal resident of Sanders County, Montana for the last 3 years as a student recently completing their high school education within the Sanders County school system or home schooled in Sanders county, or a re-entering adult living in Sanders county, Montana.

Examples: EMT, CNA, ASE, Comp TIA, Veterinary Technicians, Dental Assistants, Lifeguard and continuing educational programs required to maintain professional licenses, and other programs.
Applicant must demonstrate a financial need and be a legal resident of Sanders County, Montana for the last 3 years as a student recently completing their high school education within the Sanders County school system or home schooled in Sanders county, or a re-entering adult living in Sanders county, Montana.

Applicant must be a woman who is a legal resident or recent high school graduate of Lincoln, Flathead, Lake, Sanders, Mineral, Missoula, Granite, Powell, Deer Lodge, Ravalli, or Beaverhead counties in Montana.

The General Federation of Women’s Clubs is a national leader in the fight to end domestic violence. To emphasize our dedication in tackling this societal issue, GFWC implemented the Success for Survivors Scholarship in 2011 to provide survivors with a means to achieve both financial and personal independence.
Since 2011 GFWC has awarded more than $97,500 to survivors of domestic violence.
A $3,000 non-renewable scholarship is awarded upon verification of enrollment in an accredited public or private post-secondary or vocational institution.
