About GFWC-NH

GFWC-NH clubs enhance the quality of life within our communities and state by keeping a pulse on public interests and concerns and then taking action.

We promote a wide variety of programs and projects enabling all members to choose those of interest to them.

We afford opportunities for the development of individual skills, talents, leadership and abilities.

We have a long history such as supporting child labor laws, establishing public libraries, preserving the NH Forests, establishing the Status of Women commission. We provided funding for the Old Man in the Mountain museum and we provided the Seacoast Science Center audio trails. We support the arts.

As one of the oldest nonpartisan and nondenominational women’s service organizations in the world, GFWC unites diverse women in a single goal to improve the lives of others.
