You will find that there are teacher readings being collated in the shared Google Drive. In their original form these are not appropriate for students but could bne made into teaching and learning moments. You might like to have the students create a few questions to ask different AI Assistants like Samsung's Bixby, Apple's Siri, Microsoft's Cortana and Amazon's Alexa and have the same questions posed to their male counterparts. You can do this by changing the voice from Siri to Siri's male iteration. Ask the students whether they observe a difference in the types of answers given based on the gendered voice.
Another question might be, "Why are the default assistant's voices female unless otherwise chosen, and what are the implications for women?"
You might like to share the following with your students as a response to a rich question.
