Effective date: August 16, 2026
PracticeTrax respects your privacy. This policy explains what information we collect, why we collect it, how it is used, and the choices available to you when you use the PracticeTrax mobile application and website.
INFORMATION WE COLLECT
Account information
When you create an account, we collect your email address, authentication information, account creation date, and sign-in activity. Passwords are handled by our authentication provider and are not visible to PracticeTrax administrators.
Show access and device information
We collect information needed to verify show codes, associate authorized productions with your account and device, manage expiration or revocation, and provide offline downloads. This may include a randomly generated device identifier, show entitlements, download status, and access dates.
Practice activity
When you actively play rehearsal tracks, PracticeTrax may record the production and movement practiced, playback start and end times, duration, selected tempo range, mix or focused tracks, and related playback settings. This information may be visible to an authorized director or administrator associated with the production.
PracticeTrax does not record or upload microphone audio.
Technical information
We may receive limited technical information needed to operate, secure, and troubleshoot the service, such as app version, device platform, error information, and network-request information.
HOW WE USE INFORMATION
We use information to:
• Create, authenticate, and support user accounts.
• Verify show codes and manage authorized access.
• Deliver and maintain offline rehearsal-track downloads.
• Synchronize playback and practice features.
• Provide practice-activity information to authorized production administrators.
• Diagnose problems, protect the service, and improve reliability.
• Respond to support and account-deletion requests.
• Meet legal, security, and App Store requirements.
HOW INFORMATION IS SHARED
We do not sell personal information.
Information may be shared:
• With authorized directors or administrators for productions you access, including relevant practice activity.
• With service providers that help us operate PracticeTrax, including cloud hosting, database, authentication, email, and Apple distribution services.
• When required by law, legal process, or a valid governmental request.
• When reasonably necessary to protect users, PracticeTrax, or the security and integrity of the service.
• As part of a business transfer, subject to appropriate privacy protections.
Show codes should be treated as access credentials and shared only with authorized participants.
DATA STORAGE AND SECURITY
PracticeTrax uses administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect personal information. Data is transmitted using encrypted network connections where supported. No method of electronic storage or transmission can be guaranteed completely secure.
Downloaded rehearsal tracks are stored locally on your device for offline use. Access may expire or be revoked. Signing out does not necessarily remove downloads, but deleting your account removes downloaded PracticeTrax show content from the app.
DATA RETENTION
We retain account, entitlement, and practice information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the service, meet production and contractual needs, resolve disputes, maintain security, and comply with legal obligations. When an account is deleted, associated account data is deleted or anonymized unless retention is required by law or necessary for legitimate security, fraud-prevention, or recordkeeping purposes.
YOUR CHOICES AND RIGHTS
You may:
• Review your account email within the app.
• Stop practice tracking by pausing or stopping playback.
• Remove downloaded shows from your device.
• Request help or ask questions by contacting getpracticetrax@gmail.com.
• Permanently delete your account from the Account screen in the app.
Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights to request access, correction, deletion, restriction, or a copy of personal information. We may need to verify your identity before completing a request.
CHILDREN AND STUDENT USERS
PracticeTrax may be used in educational or performing-arts settings. If an organization provides access to a minor, the organization and the minor’s parent or guardian are responsible for any consent or authorization required by applicable law. PracticeTrax is not intended for children under 13 to create an account independently without appropriate authorization. Parents or guardians may contact us with questions or requests concerning a minor’s information.
THIRD-PARTY SERVICES AND LINKS
PracticeTrax relies on third-party services, including Supabase for cloud database and authentication services and Apple for app distribution. Those providers process information according to their own terms and privacy practices. Our website or app may also link to external websites that PracticeTrax does not control.
INTERNATIONAL PROCESSING
Information may be processed or stored in locations outside your state, province, or country. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards for such processing.
CHANGES TO THIS POLICY
We may update this Privacy Policy as PracticeTrax changes. The revised policy will be posted on this page with a new effective date. Material changes may also be communicated through the app or another appropriate method.
