About the University

Central University of Tamil Nadu, established in 2009 through the Act of Parliament, is located in the heart of the Cauvery Delta at Thiruvarur. It consists of 13 Schools and 28 Departments with modern infrastructure and adaptable teaching-learning methodology to ensure comprehensive student development. With over 2000 students from various parts of India, the University emphasizes community engagement and offers 64 academic programs, including undergraduate, postgraduate, research, integrated programs, and PG diploma courses.
