Achieve Atlanta support Atlanta Public School students in graduating from colleges. Offering assistances with College Access partners to provide strategic and financial assistance to service all APS juniors and seniors.
A need-based scholarship to assist Atlanta Public School students high school graduates enrolling in a postsecondary institutions. The Achieve Atlanta Scholarship is an effort to increase the opportunity for students to attain a postsecondary education.
Be enrolled in a APS prior to beginning of the 11th grade school year.
Graduate for an APS high school.
To qualify for a 2-year college or technical program, graduates must have a cumulative GPA of at least 75.
To qualify for a 4-year college, graduates must have a cumulative GPA of at least a 80.
Complete the FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid) Application.
Submit FAFSA Student Aid Report to show the Estimated Family Contribution (EFC) is between $0-$8,000.
Enroll full-time in an accredited, nonprofit private or public college or technical program by the fall immediately following high school graduation
Out-of-state colleges must have a graduate rate of 44% in order to use the scholarship.
Students eligible for a 4-year college will be awarded $5,000 per year, renewable for up to four years.
Students eligible for a 2-year or technical program will be awarded %2,500 per year, renewable for to two years.

Achieve Atlanta works to support students on postsecondary paths. Using the Match & Fit List Builder Tool students are able to create a balanced college list in which the student can apply. Based on academic match, students are encouraged to build a list which include: Target, Reach, and Likely.
