My name is George Timman and I am a first year student majoring in Health Sciences - Pre-Physical Therapy at the University of Cincinnati. Here, I am apart of the University Honors Program and am in the High School Early Assurance Pathway (HEAP), a selective program that lets me receive early assurance of admission in UC's Doctor of Physical Therapy program. I am also a member of UC Habitat for Humanity, a student organization that partners with the Habitat for Humanity of Greater Cincinnati chapter to build homes and raise awareness for affordable housing.
I am very passionate about helping others, which is one of the main reason's I decided to pursue a career in Physical Therapy. Having personally gone through physical therapy to recover from a torn labrum, I understand firsthand the dedication and patience it takes to heal, and want to be the reason individuals are able to heal just as I did.
I love the outdoors, traveling, anything sports, and most importantly my family. I am the middle child between two sisters, and I am forever grateful for the life my parents have provided me. In my free time, my hobbies include playing pickleball, golf, fishing, and hiking. Hiking is something I inherited from parents along with travel. I have been to 15 countries, and all over the United States. A lot of that travel was for hockey, which I played for 10 years and is also a major part of who I am today.
