As with all faculty in the WWU Geology department, I teach courses across the curriculum. I love introducing students to earth science in introductory courses, and I am passionate about making quantitative material accessible even to students with math fear. For those interested in one method to help students understand principles and equations of physics, take a look at my Equation Journal project (in this paper called an "equation dictionary").
