My goal for this class is to come out with a solid foundation of geology knowledge with which to grow on when I transfer to the geology program at CSUSB, meeting or exceeding all of the student learning outcomes for this class. I intend to achieve this by setting aside a minimum of one hour everyday to study geology and creating study aids, such as flashcards, diagrams, and visual matching cards. I know not all topics will be interesting, so will have to rely on habit rather than motivation to study some topics.
I hope to stay on top of all of my course work this semester and complete everything on time. I think an important factor for me is rotating the class I have on a particular day with what I study that night so as not to burn out on a subject. Having chemistry on Mondays and Wednesdays, I will study geology those nights.
