eTwinning project
ID: 155381
This project is part of School curriculum.
The project aims to explore and preserve cultural heritage through virtual tours and the creation of a virtual museum. The sustainability aspect involves finding solutions to protect and sustain cultural sites and traditions in the face of modern challenges.
Four heroes explore and sustain cultural heritage through virtual tours and a digital museum. By addressing modern challenges, the project combines cultural preservation with sustainability, creating innovative solutions to protect and celebrate heritage globally.
GO1. Preserve and promote the cultural and natural heritage of the region by mapping key sites and integrating them into sustainable tourism strategies.
GO2. Raise awareness and educate on the importance of heritage conservation and sustainable practices through digital exhibitions and events.
GO3. Develop sustainable digital tourism routes that connect cultural heritage with natural landscapes, encouraging eco-friendly tourism that benefits local economies and minimizes environmental impact.
GO4. Encourage international cooperation through joint activities, exchange of experiences and knowledge about cultural and natural heritage and sustainable development.
GO5. Developing key competencies for lifelong learning (Literacy; Multilingualism; Numerical, scientific and engineering skills; Digital and technology-based competences; Interpersonal skills, and the ability to adopt new competences; Active citizenship; Entrepreneurship; Cultural awareness and expression) as well as contribute to the development of cross-curricular themes such as Personal and Social Development, Learning How to Learn, and Sustainable Development.

A deeper awareness among students of local cultural and natural heritage, fostering a sense of pride and responsibility toward its preservation.
Development of environmental awareness, encouraging students to think about sustainable practices and their importance.
Improved digital literacy and online research skills among students as they navigate digital platforms and use online tools.
Basic competencies in sustainability, cultural awareness, and active citizenship fostered through interactive and engaging digital learning activities.
Encouraging students to think creatively and critically about how cultural heritage and the environment are connected, as well as how they can contribute to their protection.
Fostering curiosity and self-driven exploration of cultural and natural topics via digital platforms.
Strengthening of collaboration skills as students work together in online group activities, sharing ideas and discussing their learning experiences.
Building a sense of community and shared responsibility among students regarding the preservation of their local heritage and environment.
In this activity, students reflected on the meaning of cultural heritage and shared their personal interpretations. They considered different types of cultural heritage, including tangible (monuments, art, or buildings), intangible (traditions, music, or language), and natural (landscapes or ecosystems with cultural significance).
Activity was done in Twinspace forum.
Students explored and reflected on economic and social sustainability using Digipad. They shared their insights, analyzed key aspects of sustainability, and engaged in meaningful discussions to deepen their understanding of these important topics.
Students played a game by spining a wheel and answering questions about sustainability.
Students selected 8 heritage destinations from their country and created short texts for each. They included details about the location, its historical or cultural significance, and highlighted unique features. Each text was accompanied by a royalty-free, high-quality image of the destination to visually enhance their work.

First we gave our opinion about benefits of virtual museums via digipad:
Than we discussed in the Twinspace Forum about challenges. The questio was What are some challenges virtual museums might face, and how can we overcome them?
We also created ideas of How can we make a virtual museum more fun and interactive? in Twinboard.
And finaly we voted for virtual or traditional museum in Twinspace.
We have collaborately created mini digital dictionary due to project theme!
We collaboratively created and then in an online meeting played a Kahoot quiz about heritage of partners countries. It was fun!
We played escape room in digital tool Genially about examples of heritage of partners countries.
