When do we use electricity the most, during the day or night?

We use electricity more during the day. We have Industry, transport, computers, etc. all being switched on in the mornings.

The energy centers start up another generator during the day to meet the peak demand.

This is where GENI Initiative steps in and suggests at the end of each to pass the excess energy onto the next time zone, instead of grounding the energy at the end of the day.

It's too much to store in batteries. As the batteries hold more capacity, this may change.

Which world view map has the least distortion?

The Dymaxion Map created by Bucky Fuller has less than 1% distortion.

~ The land mass is the most accurate.
~ You can see both Arctic and Antarctic poles.
~ One island in one ocean.

Bucky Fuller coined the phrase:
                 "One Island in One Ocean."

Why support GENI Foundation?

Because you believe that there is an abundance of energy and we can all share in it!

The two Aussie projects we are currently work on are:

All funds raised (through comedy fundraisers, Patreon, and other donations) are saved and when we raise the required amount, goes to one of these projects.

The more funds we raise the more projects we can accomplish!

What are the benefits of linking with the world wide electricity grid?

The strategy we promote is to interconnect electrical power grids between countries and continents to create an international energy grid with an emphasis on linking renewable energy resources - wind, solar, hydro, biomass, geothermal and ocean - to meet out energy sustainability.

We focus on electricity and its sources. Electricity is the essential infrastructure that enables our modern quality of life.

Renewable energy  sources offer a transition from polluting fossil fuels to a clean environment and sustainable energy.

Why renewable energy?

~ It reduces pollution caused by burning fossil fuels.

~ There are virtually unlimited resources: Solar, Wind, Geothermal, Hydro, Ocean waves, and Biomass.

~ It enables a significant reduction in greenhouse gas emission.

~ Several renewables are now cost competitive after years of initial research and development.

What are the benefits to society?

~ Reduces climate change and toxic pollution from fossil fuels and nuclear waste.

~ Increases energy efficiency and sustainable development.

~ Enables health care, communications and access to clean water, irrigation, refrigeration and transport.

~ Increases trade, cooperation and enhances world peace.

~ Reduces poverty, world hunger and illiteracy.

~ Stabilizers world population growth.

What about utility and operator efficiency?

While all transmission lines must first be justified for reliability and economics, many additional benefits exist for grid system operation:

~ Load sharing between utilities.

~ Emergency back-up of power from neighboring utilities.

~ Peak power savings through daytime and seasonal power exchange.

~ Deferral of additional generation requirements.

~ Increased system reliability.

~ Improved frequency and voltage control.

~ Ability to retire older environmentally.

Our results?

Over the past decades, the GENI Initiative has reached every President, Prime Minister, UN Ambassador and Energy Minister around the world. Through numerous energy conferences and United Nations Summits, the strategy of linking power grids between nations has been embraced on all continents.

Today, the Energy Ministers of every continent have pledged to accelerate the development of clean energy resources as policy makers search for ways to mitigate climate change.

The U.S., India, and China have committed to developing a national energy grid. More than half the nations in the world are now linked to their neighboring countries.

What's needed is to extend the benefits of clean electricity to all nations.
