The journey of building the Genies In Wondercell 3.0 mobile applications
Genies In Wondercell 3.0 digital gamification is intended to help students practice the concept of correct base pairing for DNA between template strand and non-template strand, as well as between DNA template and mRNA strand. The correct polypeptide chain can then be produced by referring to the provided Genetic Code Table. This digital gamification concept is based on the Genies In Wondercell 1.0 project, which makes use of magnetic game boxes. It took three months to produce the Genies In Wondercell 3.0 project. It starts from the process of planning and building a digital gamification prototype from version 1 to version 12.

Genies In Wondercell started with a magnetic game box where players can experience a new learning approach in understanding the fundamental parts of gene expression in the protein synthesis process. However, Genies In Wondercell 2.0 has been improved by integrating the game box with digital applications such as Google Site, QR codes, and Augmented reality.
